Wow...

Sorry about the obnoxiously long gap between posts... a lot has happened between then and now and I've been more than a little sidetracked. Towards the end of the semester I decided to actually get out and experience Rome instead of just writing about it, so that took time away from this, then came final jury, which obviously monopolized most of my free time for the last couple of weeks in Rome. Then came packing and the flight back to Iowa for a week... amazing how I can go from an apartment in Rome to my house in southeast Iowa in the same 24 hour period. Then it was back to DC, into the Towers, starting work in Alexandria, turning 21... it has been a pretty amazing summer and I've had a lot of great times with my friends that I wouldn't trade for anything. I also haven't gotten a great deal done this summer, but I think that's probably healthy every once in a while... Lord knows I'll make up for it once school starts, so I'm enjoying life before I find myself unable to. Anyway, the main point of this post is to say that I do plan on completing my blog this summer, maybe not as in-depth as I would like, but it will get done. I'm almost ready to post some pictures and commentary from my spring break in London and Paris, so keep your eyes open.
