Capri pics

The view of the beach in front of our hotel... just a little nice.

The next three shots are from my hotel balcony... the running joke was that Capri had to be fake, and created by the Disney Imagineers because it's obviously too beautiful to be real.

Casa Malaparte, where our workshop on Capri took place. We hiked out to this outcropping every day we were on Capri to do sketching assignments, listen to lectures, and have some amazing dinners.

Casa Malaparte and its cliff.

A bunch of us about to take the hotel's shuttle up to the main piazza to start the walk to Casa Malaparte.

Leticia, Monica, and Amy looking sharp.

Even the cloudy days were nice... this is from Villa San Michele looking back towards the town of Capri.

On the day we went to Villa San Michele and Anacapri, we decided to go to the highest point on the island. In a single-person, open chairlift. Good idea, right?

The view from the chairlift.

I feel like the Von Trapp kids are going to come out singing at any moment.

Amy and a friend on Mount Solara.

Monica, in one of our better photo shoot moments.

Amy's photo shoot gone wrong... the wind was pretty fierce, and made Amy's hair pretty ridiculous.

Me, with the Faraglioni rocks in the background.

The next few are on the rocky beach in front of the hotel.

You pretty much have to see this water to believe it, it was incredible.

Me getting ready to take the boat tour around the island.

Some of the cliffs on our boat tour.

An overlook on the hike to Casa Malaparte.

A couple pictures of me that accidentally turned out well.

A beautiful doorway on the hike to Casa Malaparte.

Some cool ironwork on the way to the Casa.

The Faraglioni.

The infamous photo "sloot"... good times.
